Chef Weijie Wang, hailing from Lanzhou, China, brings over 30 years of experience to Saskatoon’s Bowl of Heaven, where he skillfully showcases the art of hand-pulled noodles. His dedication to perfecting this intricate craft results in noodles that are not only a culinary delight but also the centerpiece of the restaurant’s authentic Lanzhou noodle soups. These soups, characterized by their fragrant broth, tender beef, and fresh herbs, embody the rich culinary traditions of Lanzhou, making every meal an invitation to explore the depth of Chinese flavors.

WHAT OTHERS SAY​

Just had a great meal at Bowl of Heaven. The noodles were perfect—springy but not too chewy, with just the right bite to them. The skewers had a nice char, and the chicken was flavorful and juicy. The lamb chop was tender and seasoned just right. The servers were friendly and meticulous with the customers, making it a solid choice for a tasty, no-fuss meal. Would definitely come back!

The noodles were so fresh and delicious! You can watch the noodles be hand pulled through the open-face kitchen. The broth is fragrant (but I do think could have a bit more depth in it’s flavour if eaten without chili oil) and the meat was tender and delicious. The ordering process was easy, with many different options! The drinks were good, and service was great. The portions were good, and the prices are good for what you get. Would recommend if you are looking for delicious, fresh noodles!

We stopped by to try the food at Bowl of Heaven BOH YXE Saskatoon and were very impressed by the quality of the food and flavors. We tried the Chicken Karaage (deep fried dark chicken meat in a light breading), Stir Fried Beef Noodle Bowl & the Traditional Lanzhou Beef Noodle Bowls. The soup bowls were some of the best we've ever tried...service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely go back and would recommended foodies locally to check this restaurant out!
